Nicolai Canetti PrismArt Desktop Object Toy

Description

Conceived by postmodern, NYC-based designer Nicolai Canetti in 1984, the PrismArt Object Toy is an interactive cube composed of 12 acrylic prism blocks in six different translucent colors, which sit on a clear, solid acrylic base. The blocks are movable and rearrangeable into various patterns, each creating a unique and endless display of colors that change based on the lighting in your space. Blurring the lines between a puzzle and an objet d’art, the PrismArt Object Toy is an engaging and mood-lifting visual design for your desk, making it an attractive conversation piece. The PrismArt Object Toy measures 7.5h x 6.5w x 3.5″d. Postmodern designs are represented in MoMA’s collection.
