Henri Matisse Snow Flowers Framed Print

Description

This print features a reproduction of Snow Flowers (1951) by Henri Matisse, an artist with work in MoMA’s collection. It’s framed in sustainably sourced black ash with a gallery acrylic finish. Strung for hanging.  It measures 24.5h x 13.25w x 1″d.

A work produced during Matisse’s paper cutout period, Snow Flowers depicts floral forms imagined and real-some of the shapes are inspired by early spring snowdrop flowers-that are abstracted and placed against a patchwork of bold color.
