Eames D Stool from Herman Miller – Walnut

Description

This mid-century modern icon was designed in 1960 by Charles and Ray Eames, whose work is represented in MoMA’s collection. The Eames D Stool was originally designed for the lobby of the Time-Life Building. Made of solid turned wood, the stool is versatile and can be used anywhere, alone or in groups. The D Stool can also be inverted, as the top and bottom are concave, so both ends are conducive to sitting. Made by Herman Miller, a manufacturer with work in MoMA’s collection. The Eames D Stool measures 15″h x 13.25″diam.
