Andy Warhol Brillo Boxes Skateboard from The Skateroom

Description

Warhol’s iconic Brillo Box, but make it a statement piece for your wall.

Bring some Pop art into your space with this skateboard that’s printed with images of Andy Warhol’s Brillo Box (Soap Pads) (1964), a sculpture in MoMA’s collection. Like much of Warhol’s work from this period, Brillo Box expressed the artist’s interest in consumer culture, mass production, and the blurring of boundaries between everyday objects and fine art. The back of the skateboard is printed with an image of Warhol and a reproduction of his signature. The board is crafted from seven-ply Canadian maple wood and measures 32h x 8.25w x 0.5″d. The Skateroom is a platform for promoting, selling and producing art on skateboards that supports youth-empowering organizations.
