Alexander Girard Flower Coffee Table from Herman Miller – Red

Description

A modern take on a blooming flower, for indoor and outdoor use.

Designed by Alexander Girard in the mid-1950s for the Miller House in Columbus, Indiana, this lighthearted table is crafted from powder-coated steel. The top of the table is composed of a scalloped-edge floral shape while the multiple looped legs mimic flower petals. Use the Alexander Girard Flower Coffee Table inside or outdoors to serve beverages or display your favorite books. Both Alexander Girard and the table’s manufacturer, Herman Miller, are represented in MoMA’s collection.
