Milton Glaser: Dylan Poster

Description

Authorized reproduction printed in upper right corner.

In 1966, CBS records commissioned Milton Glaser to design a special poster to be packaged with the album Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits. Glaser took inspiration from a Marcel Duchamp self-portrait and the result was this energetic design with swirling streams of colors evoking the effects of counter-cultural psychedelic drugs. This poster is a four-color lithographic reproduction, printed in Glaser’s New York City studio in 2008, of the original poster, which is a work in MoMA’s collection. Poster is in new condition. Comes rolled in a plastic sleeve and shipped in a durable mailing tube for safe delivery. Returns not accepted. Extremely limited quantities. Member and other discounts do not apply.
