Panthella 250 Portable Table Lamp – Opaque Orange

Description

An iconic lamp with both substantial presence and portable freedom.

A portable version of Verner Panton’s original 1971 Panthella floor lamp design, the Panthella 250 Table Lamp has a larger profile than the 160 version of the design. Taller, wider and brighter, this version is a statement piece made to live on a side table or nightstand.  A wireless design that’s charged via USB-C, the Panthella 250 directs light downwards. The light is then reflected around the room by the lamp’s trumpet-shaped foot. This results in soft, comfortable illumination. Both Verner Panton and the lamp’s manufacturer, Louis Poulsen, are represented in MoMA’s collection.

The Opal version features a high-luster, chrome-plated base that recreates Verner Panton’s original 1971 metallic look through a specialized manufacturing process. This process requires a more complex manufacturing process than standard injection-molded solid colors.
